We Supported the Planting of Fruit Trees

Our employees regularly participate in volunteer activities in Bohumín and the surrounding areas.
The most recent successful event took place on Friday, 8 November, when, in collaboration with representatives of ZO ČSOP Levrekův Ostrov, nearly 20 saplings of traditional fruit tree varieties historically grown in the region were planted.
The entire project was carried out in close cooperation with the Bohumín town council, which provided a suitable plot of land for the planting. Thanks to the efforts of all the volunteers and the strategic location near urban development, specifically in Bohumín’s Skřečoň area, locals can look forward to new apple, pear, and cherry trees. The site will serve as a community orchard.
BONATRANS plans to continue working with the town and selected non-profit organisations in the future to support other interesting environmental projects.
