The 15th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE)

The 15th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) was held from 12 to 14 October in the capital of India, New Delhi.
This event is considered to be the largest trade fair of its kind in India. Exhibitors and visitors from at least 11 countries, including BONATRANS representatives, were present on behalf of their subsidiary in India.
Two exhibits were prepared for the visitors this year:
A wheel from the MRS1 project (Mumbai Metro Line 2&7). It is currently under production and is supplied (as a wheelset) to BEML. The wheel confirms to EN 13262 standard, is made of ER8 steel grade and equipped with BONASILENCE®R, friction noise damping ring to reduce rolling and squealing noise.
A wheelset from the DMRC RS13 and RS15 project. The supplies of this type have since been completed and the product is in operation successfully over the past years on New Delhi metro network. The wheel, axle and wheelset confirm to EN 13262, EN 13261, EN 13260 standards respectively. The wheels material is also ER8, the axle EA1N.
Our representatives from India were also very pleased with the visit of Mrs. Eliska Zigova, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to India.
