ECM certificate for GHH Radsatz GmbH

Gutehoffnungshütte Radsatz GmbH (GHH) has been certified by the notified company SCONRAIL as entity in charge of maintenance (ECM) for the workshop in Oberhausen in November 2022.
The certification was carried out according to the guideline (EU) no. 2019/779 stipulated from the commission dated May 16th, 2019 for the maintenance of railway vehicles.
An entity in charge of maintenance plays an important safety role in the European Railway System by ensuring that the vehicles or systems, for which it is in charge of, are in safe state of running by means of a system of maintenance.
In this accordance Gutehoffnungshütte Radsatz GmbH has been awarded with ECM1, ECM2 and ECM4 functions.
With the certification of ECM4 on delivery of maintenance it is confirmed, that GHH is capable for the execution of maintenance for wheelsets, wheels, and axles in accordance with European guideline.
The ECM certificate is another milestone for the development of GHH Radsatz GmbH as a full service provider for European customers and is valid for a period of 5 years.
