BONATRANS at Kariéra+

It seems improbable or even unbelievable, but it is a fact – wheelsets from Bohumín rule the world.
On average, every fourth passenger rail vehicle in the world runs on BONATRANS wheelsets or wheels and axles. Whether it is urban transport (subway or trams), or intercity transport (high-velocity trains or locomotives). In 80 countries on 5 continents. In Europe, BONATRANS even holds more than a third of the market share.
On 14 March 2023, we took part at already the 16th Work Opportunities Fair, Kariéra+, held in the auditorium of the VSB – Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TUO). Introduced there to 2,825 visitors, especially students, were 103 employers from all over the Czech Republic. Most frequently we spoke to students of mechanical, material and electrical engineering, but sometimes also of IT and other disciplines. Not an insignificant percentage of them were students from India. During the fair, the visitors could also attend various lectures and workshops.
For many of them the BONATRANS phenomenon was a new discovery, others just needed a reminder. What more, it was done in the context of the opportunities (and positions) which the students can apply for.
